it sure is nice to be part of this community....

and what is up w this month, seems like ther has been an strangely large amt of wrecks?

due to excellent therapy progress i should be discharged on wed or thur next week to go to my parents house (so they can help me recover some more)

I was initially taken to ben taub, but have spent the rest of my time over here at St lukes Episcopal hospital. They done a great job putting me back together.

Boredome is setting in, if anyone does want to come by or give me a buzz, my phone is 713 419 5049. But do not go out of way to do so. Visiting is open on weekends, better in afternnon eve or night next week...

thanks all for the support!

I can't believe you're alive. I rode by the site w/in an hour after it happened - what was left of your bike was still wadded up in the roadway. All westbound lanes were closed.

I come out of downtown all the time on Memorial. As you approach the accident site, there's a patch across the left lane that's more like a ramp. It's just around where you'd want to start leaning for the left curve (where your light pole is located on driver's right of that curve). I've wondered if you went over that patch/ramp at speed, and got light enough that you couldn't make the turn. You're heading almost for the light pole at that point, the trajectory looks about right.
