ok here is my 2 cents

i dont think the dealer/ shop has full responsability for what happened

reason # 1 an employee is an employee not the owner/ manager itself

now is true, they have to be upfront for whatever the employee did

but was an employee, not the shop itself

now if the owner / manager do everything he / she can to remedy the situation

i think is fair to give them the chance to make it right

put your selves in their shoes, any of you that have a bussiness hire someone wich background is clean

then at the end of the week endup stealing, of course you will go upfront and be 100% responsible as an honest bussiness owner and as a man

now if you do that, that prove that your shop does the right thing

you can not have 100% control of whatever your employees do

you have to deposit certain amount of trust on them, in order for your shop to run

now if you try to cover up, then yeah goes straight to and back

if someone brakes that trust, is up to you to step up and fix it, but isnt fair for you to be called a thief

just my 2 cents

Pester, usually when someone gives a reason #1, it is followed by a #2, sometimes even a #3

I like how you act like it wasn't woods fault.. you'd think they would have a little more control over what (and who) goes on in their shop.
If I took my bike to a shop to have it rekeyed and found any kind of proof that an employee of the shop used that as an opportunity to steal the bike, I'd sue the dealership.
vicarious liability.

Coming on here and claiming that the Ahole who wrote this just bought a new bike from you on Saturday does not do anything for you. Do you call all your customers Aholes? Do you give them all a "special deal" like the one posted above?

Great way to promote your business there.

+1 and good on you, 'xactly what I was thinking

Your so full of bs.......... I used to work for Woods too..... I know to this day 2 people that are in a stolen bike ring that work their. You guys are the biggest ever. Heartless to your to anybody who works for you. Yall don't give a rats about your customers. Yall talk so much BS about your customers its sick. I hated working their. I would love a detective to pm me so I can help ruin yalls names. Every bike shop and rider that knows me from this city knows I keep my word. You won't stand a chance against me in this thread. I won't drop names openly here. If the right people contact me with their badge number. We will get to talkin. Yall still owe me money for my last pay check too!

It looks like rubber2burn thinks we are all Aholes, seeing that we are all bikers and potential customers.

I called it from his first post in this thread. What an Ahole.

You say you hate thevies so much then why not turn in the ones that YOU say you know that still work at Woods in my book you not giving up the info to APD or some local Authority makes you guilty by association. Also as far as your word goes what does that have to do with any thing any one that know me as well knows I am a man of my word as well. As far as Woods owing you money sounds like you need to take that up with David the GM at Woods and I am 100% sure that he will go out of his way to correct that if he owes you money so if you don't follow up on the money part that is your fault. Oh and also so you know Woods has had a Huge Staff turn over in the Last year so the guys that you say you know that are theives might not even work there any more and if they do I have a good friend of mine that works for APD that I would be willing to give you his number because like you I hate bike theives as well. I am not saying what happened at Woods was right but it is not entirly there fault this could have happened at any bike shop or car dealer for that matter.

hey guys........... i just got pmed this. This is my response

I don't need to answer anything to you. I said who I would talk to. Also because somebody that has a rep that you know of and you not giving up the info to APD or some local Authority does not make me guilty by association. You can't be jailed for hear say. Don't try to scare me AHole. I did try to talk to upper managment. I gave them my phone number, my fax number and everything they would need to resolve the pay issue. I never heard from them again. What is your name. I promise I know who you are and bet you are in management. Are you too scared to show your self openly on here.

You guys roll through employees cause your managment is fked up like a state fair there
