I went down hard...

i honestly dont know what just hapened.. about an hour ago i was riding home and i wasnt but like 2 blocks from my house and some car with no lights on pulled out in front of me from around the local bar and i think i hit him.. all i know is that i tried to stop and the next thing i know is im standing up looking for my bike and i see a car hauling away. the 636 is ****ed.. i'm lightly roadrashed.. my knees are scraped down into ground meat and i got a lil rash on my back from where my jacket rode up. luckilly im alivve, but what me off is that my bike is ****ed, i have no idea who where the guy went, and i had to puch my bike home. from the looks of my helmet, i think it did its job, but i feel like i got a light concussioon...

damnit i didnt want to ever post this kind of thread

call your insurance, add uninsured motorists property damage, then call the cops.
j/k glad youre "OK" hope you have uninsured motorists coverage for you and your bike.
you may be in some pain tonight but trust me if you went down hard like you sound like you did, youre gonna be SO ****ING SORE for a few days...
I wouldn't plan anything for tomorrow that involvedm ore than taking painkillers, using ice packs, and watching a few movies.

Glad you're in a condition well enough to write about it. In spite of the pain and the scars that will be there, you're fortunate to have lived this one out.

Cameron,
Sorrry to hear about someone hitting you.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the penalties for hit and run involving a motorcyclist need to be stiffer.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

glad yer ok, but ifn you were following the rules set forth, your rashed would have been snuglin' cozy in the bed dreaming of the 636 and a trip to the dragon.
anywho, glad your ok for the most part, start watching for the car, they were there for a reason, mebbe favorite late night watering hole, something, but start watching.
