IMHO The Fayeteville route has less squids than the forest ride.
You got to go earlier. Like at sunrise. Squids sleep late.

that sucks, should of pulled over for a "break" and waited for Mr. POPO to leave.

I just went thru there yesterday; roads were clear and clean and no traffic to speak of, and no POPO's

I saw a pair of state troppers last time I went, i was just cruising at sane speeds so there was no problem. as long as you ride at a moderate speed you'll be ok.
Did I mention i have a a radar jammer and radar in my bike? It can be quite useful sometimes.

I don't always carry it that's why I recently put the radar jammer. I've never tested it in a real world situation though... it better works.

Any pictures of your set-up...??? I just installed the base for the Radar detector and try to use the COBRA Radar detector that I use in my truck but it did not work well. The LED display is useless in daylight and the ear piece adapter was not working fine, also the 12V adpater that I installed keep disconnecting. I check the Escort SOLO2 (wireless) but I can not justify $330.00 on that small piece of equipment.

No, I have no pictures of the set up. it's hidden beneath the tank and cockpit so taking a picture isn't easy. I had my radar set up by stubbs cycles and it's working fine, the little warning beep can be heard at around 7000 rpms if you are paying attention--which i usually do when I'm above the speed limit--and the led can also be seen in daylight. Perhaps thats due to the fact that I have a carbon fiber wind screen and prevents the light from reaching the cockpit.

I thought you were referring to the radar jammer. the radar was mounted using the bracket provided by cobra so t is located where the steering stabilizer would be.

I really like to see when you guys/gals post maps to back roads where you run your bikes and then question why the cops are getting thick.
