My Supermoto

I only had an hour to work on the bike today, so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. Plus, I broke one of the axle holder bolts...so I need to still back that sucker out. Rear wheel going on soon.

sweet, did you go with a 17" front wheel? I have a decent rear BT002 you can have if you want it.

its all good...i figured they were probably 180s

currently i'm running the contiforce supermoto tires.

we'll see how much i like them. anyhow, i can't wait to run this bike down the steet on street tires...then around the track...the bike is super fun on the knobbies in the street...and the power seems endless. i have a good feeling i can beat my 929 around the block on it...

I will I will.

Can't wait to get home tonight...I should be able to mount up the rear wheel. I need to go pick up some ez-outs for that one broken bolt too. Also I need to throw away my torque wrench.

thanks. Can't wait to roll this sucker. I need to get the suspension redone...it's sprung for over 200 lbs...those that know me, know I don't get anywhere near that, soaking wet, and carrying a 50 lb weight!

eh, i know very little about this bike, and the 450s. I am learning as I go, as I do with everything I own.

i have a buddy that knows a lot about them, so you could always pick his brain...he's the man when it comes to motors and dirtbikes.

Anyhow, if you pick that up, I've seen someone selling excel wheels w/ talon hubs, sprockets, brakes (front and rear) and a caliper relocator, fender, and more (pretty much all you would need) for $1300...which barely covers the cost of the wheels brand new.

cool. now get ur rear wheel goin, taller gearing and such. you'll soon find 400000000 more things you will want to buy for it. what kind of use are you planning on...street, racing, etc? I finally got mine all up and running last month. got it tuned last week and she hit just shy of 44rwhp on a FP dyno.

nice! i was looking at your bike on thumpertalk!
I will be tracking on it. I picked up a 44T (from a 49T) sprocket...we'll see how much more top end I pick up. I may get creative with the suspension too.

anyhow, i aim to have the rear on tonight, but it's not really in the 1/2's agenda...we'll see when I get home.
