I need a sponsor

I need a someone to sponsor me for trackdays. In exchange for help with tire costs and entry fees I will:

Attend at least 10 trackdays a year.
Put any stickers or advertisements you want on my trackbike (nice GSXR750)
Hang banners in my pit.
Hand out flyers or other info.
Talk up your business to everyone I meet, even away from the track.

Mow your yard, wash your car, be your ?

Thanks Carbon.
Now about that sponsorship...

I figure people get sponsored for racing right? Why? Because they get the sponsors name out in front of the public, spread good will, it's like advertising in motion.

Why not do the same at trackdays? It's just a new place to get the word out. Maybe it isn't widely done yet, but this way you could get in on the ground floor!
So if you are a shop owner/mgr PM me, and we can work it out. If you wanna keep it low key that's cool. I won't say a word.

i support my sponsors by wearing there T's and sporting stickers all the time!!!

Plus i spend money with them too...

you may be able to talk to Patrick and get an idea of what sponsorship entails.

as for racing, Bipolar racing is sponsored by 2 of the MH site supporters/sponsors plus Cycle Gear, and My own company ( my employer ) i get nothing free but do get "racers discounts". this is very nice as it does save the team money everytime we purchase something or have a service performed.

CMRA does pay out contingency prizes to it's racers. I wouldn't really call anything "free" tho..

WE DO THANK EVERYONE OF OUR SUPPORTERS AND SPONSORS, even you guys that just wish us luck before the races, and congratulate us on our finishes. With out MH, we wouldn't have anyone to Brag to.

Thanks Carbon. Of course I would spend money with my sponsors. In many cases I spend money with them even though they aren't sponsoring me, yet.

Not looking for a free ride just some help with expenses. Tires, accessories, maintenance that sorta stuff.

I'll even swear off drama threads... no, really I mean it.

Corner working is a good way to help with entry fees, I need some help on other costs too.
Tires. oil etc.
Make me your spokesman, I'm not shy, I WILL speak to people for you.
As a former service manager of a motorcycle shop, with motorcycle sales experience, some racing experience and over 25 years street riding I have the knowledge required.
AND I'm willing to beg...

Even grovel a little.

This is the secret formula... only to be used by the most adept Track Magis.

Corner Work - Get to know your people, be reliable and they will work with you on getting your time on the track right for you.

Tires - Get to know your racers. DOT race tires with one race on them make for cheap track day tires and depending on how you work that throttle hand will directly affect how many track days you get out of them.

Oil & Filters - Buy in bulk for the entire season based upon how much riding you will be doing. I change my oil and filter after every track day based upon the advice of my favorite shop.

Gas - Making trips to the track with others is the practice you should be in. So you split the travel fees but, again your fuel consumption on the track will depend on your throttle hand. No getting around that expense.

Food - Pack a lunch and take advantage of the free drinks. Or just hang out with Tony. (You the man Tony!)

With this formula you can get a half day of riding in @ TWS (Texas World Speedway) for under an average of $50.

Last resort for everything else. Beg and Borrow!

Well, the begging part is what I am working on with this thread. Thanks for the other tips, as a last resort (prolly 1st resort) I will use them.
