The only thing that you are right about is that a SuperCar is more Expensive than a Superbike. learing to ride a superbike is much easier than trying to conect 800 or over 1000 hp in a supercar. YES the The Bugatti Veyron's produces 1001 horsepower for a top speed of more than 250 mph. now that is pure unadulterated power that would get many folks in big trouble really fast..... SH&t I want one lol "ferrari" what a POS

Not everyone can go out and buy a ferrari, and if they do, they more than likely have driven cars bofore, so they are already experinced. On the other hand, it is much easier to afford a superbike and kill youself the first time you try to ride it. That;s why I don't really think you can compare the 2.

I understood from the original document that the problem was the HP level of the Superbike. The example was a bike with a HP rating close to a sub-compact Honda.
It seems that they wouldn't govern top speed but rather focus on rate of eccelleration by limiting the HP to weight ratio. Your brand new 2010 Superbike would have a HP rating of 125 HP and the top speed would be dependant on rider weight.

You can't use a Bugatti in this argument. maybe 1 out of a million people can afford one. its ludicrous

The newer 600's are close to 125 and will still spit you off in a heartbeat... would have to go closer to 60!

That was my point. With a HP to weight restriction, they could easily remove the Superbike from the market place and sell as a race only bike you need a license to purchase.
