Should be a plate on the front, and if there wasn't...just get head, keep in site and call the dps. Pretty sure they'd have a field day once they found out he'd already lost a log on the road.

The logs hanging beyond his bed were bouncing pretty good and I thought to myself it is amazing that those things don't snap off when low and behold one did right in front of me. Half a f-ing tree flew off the truck landing in front of my car bouncing in the road like a straw, luckily I was able to swerve to miss it and the cars behind me scattered, to my knowlage no one hit it. I pulled up along side the truck trying to let him know that he was losing his load and he was very unresponsive so i showed him one finger to signify that he had lost one log and it was a middle one. He continued to drive and i didn't want to get back behind him to get the plate. I went home and counted my blessings. Glad to be here to share my story.

Should've called 911 and let them sort it out and pull him over.....

Yea it's real easy for you to sit in front of your computer and tell me what i should have done but the truth is until you are in that particular situation you don't know what you would have done. Understand this I missed the log literally by inches due to it bouncing around, I was shaken up a great deal and just felt lucky to escaped with my life and wasn't thinking straight for several hours. I went home I cried, i threw up and I started my day all over again. Please don't judge my reaction as you never know what you would do in the same instance.

Sorry! didnt' mean to come across as if chastising you etc. You're completely and utterly right in that assessment. Most defintly glad you came out unscathed... personaly my first action/thought afterwords would revolve around locating some clean underwear.

A log shaped b-day cake would probably get me hurt wouldn't it?
