Dainese Suits

Anyone with a Dainese Flanker or Laguna Seca 1 piece?

Just shopping around and seeing if anyone has any good or bad comments for either of these suits as a trackday purchase for me.

Thanks

^^nice suit!

I have dainese 2 piece and it's extremely comfortable. Have'nt crash tested it, but I heard that you sacrifice a little bit of durability for comfort with the dainese suits. Also, on my pants are designed to be worn over the boot, and they don't fit over my sidi's very well, but this may only be on the model I have. Not sure if all the dainese suits are supposed to be worn over the boot or not.

depends what your budget is....

i have the fieldsheer flex suit, and it's comfortable. the price is decent also. i've crash tested it about 4 times also....still in 1 piece and FULLY functionable.

As far as budget goes, I don't have a special amount in mind that I have to spend, but just figured I'll spend upwards of around $1,000 or a little more for a good quality suit. I tend of overbuy sometimes simply because I'd rather wait longer and pay slightly more for something that I hopefully won't have to buy again or be unhappy with. I'm much more concerned about it working as intended each time it's needed than most other factors.

I like the look of that suit though. Thanks I'll give it a look as well.

You can spend less and get a lot more in my opinion. Fieldsheer and Komodo are far better suits for less money in off the rack stuff. Otherwise go custom for that kind of cash but, more importantly buy local. Patrick or Suzanne @ Motorcycles-Unlimited can get you fitted properly and guarantee that it is the right size. Also, Motorcycles Unlimited is having a sell on Fieldsheer right now. So, basically you can get a better suit for half the price you are thinking of spending and put that other money towards the rest of your gear.

No matter what you decide though get some good stuff and a back protector.

yep.....fieldsheer is great for the price. komodo is a lil more expensive, but quality stuff none the less.

my next suit will probably be a komodo suit. but as of right now....i'm lovin my fieldsheer suit.

if you want quality over price.....but still don't want to spend that much, get the fieldsheer flex, fieldsheer also has the revo suit....but if you compare them side to side....you'll see why the flex suit costs more. it's not only because of the hump on the back either

comes down to leather perforation (ventilation), zipper quality, stretch panels, and stitching.

I have to say my dainese move way more air through it than my fieldsheer suit does. plus my dainese doesn't smell as bad...yet:/:

Anyone know how long Motorcycles Unlimited is running the sale on the fieldsheer suits?
