OUT WITH HOFF, IN WITH DAVIES

It seems that after Sundays race Alex Hoffman isn't riding Ducatis any longer.

Wow, I had no idea that was the reason he retired yesterday... can you say Biaggi Junior?

He's now done in MotoGP... look for him in WSBK next year!

I lost all respect for Alex after the he said regarding Chaz Davies at Laguna. I can understand being upset with Guintoli for taking him out, but there was no reason for him to downplay Chaz's great performance the way he did.

Guintoli confirmed his move to d'Antin already. Adding Chaz would be awesome I think. I've been very impressed with both guys this season.

Rumor has it, than d'Antin has been talking with Biaggi for next season.

Chaz is not confirmed, but he has free time now...
Personally, Chaz isn't as talented as West... ..

Biaggi just wants money now... so he will go whoever pays him..

pffft. what a bonehead.

i can understand being frustrated with a bad start, heck, even being with a bad team, and knows a junky bike...

(ok cheap shot there, but hey its true)

but even still thats no reason to quit in the middle of a race. even if you decided you had it with the team and it was the last straw, you finish the race anyways, sleep on it and quit the next day with some class at the very least.

dude needs to wake up and smell the race gas. he has enough talent to race as a pro, a motogp pro as that, and he just doesnt feel like finishing a race?

can he not imagine how many people would have given so much just to have a chance to ride that bike for some 17 laps. i know i would. it would be like a dream come true to get lapped by rossi and stoner and the boys like 8 times and the race would end and id still have like 5 laps to go, lol. but still i would do it, no way i could imagine having a lack of motivation to turn laps on a gp bike, first place, last place, 3 laps back, i dont care!!!!!

I wish speedtv would give us a little off season coverage of where all the riders are going to now that some have left or lost their rides..

Its about time he left. New blood is needed in MotoGp and they also need to change to 1 tire brand like F1.

Davies may not get the D'Antin Duc ride due to an infection.

And MotoGP does not need to follow F1. The current state of F1 is a case study in how not to run a racing organization.

I have to agree with that. I would like to see more tire manufacturers getting involved. It has done great things for Bridgestone.
