brand new bike making a funny sound

I just got an 05 ninja 636 and the front wheel squeaks when i have been riding for a good amount of time and slow down from 25-5 mph. I've had it checked out by the dealer and he never got it to squeak but other people have heard it so it really does exist. I'm thinking it has something to do with the brakes but i just dont know. If anyone has any ideas....please let me know.

Re: brand new bike making a funny sound

My brakes on my R6 make noise from time to time. It could possibly be the brake pads. My truck does the same thing though the pads are still good. :dontknow:

Re: brand new bike making a funny sound

My 04 R6 creaks every once and a while. I wouldn't worry about it. I just bled my system and replaced the pads a few weeks before I wrecked and it still did it.

Re: brand new bike making a funny sound

could be just the pads breaking in to the rotors i am not sure how new the bike is, but most likely you have got the pads hot and they have glazed over. this will cause a squeeking noise from time to time. you could change the pads but if you give it a little time it will go away.

:iamwithstupid: yeah this had definitely happened to me.. I get new pads and sooner than later they start squealing. It will go away with a little time. dont worry right:
