but the last meeting was in the preseason... that one doesn't count. I'm a cowboys fan, but i'm also anti-NFC except for the cowboys, so i'm a texans fan unless they are playing the cowboys. cowboys 1st, texans 2nd

Typical cowboys fan. If it was ONLY preseason, and didn't matter much, how come we had our 2ND string offense in there at the end of the 3rd quarter and the cowboys were still running their first string D? Must not mean anything. Everyone knows, preseason or not, when it is houston versus dallas in any sport, it is for real. Oh and don't forget, AJ may have a sprained knee, but don't count him out. Teams like to make things look questionable and then suprise you with a player showing up. I think it might be a GOOD thing for AJ not to play. It will force Schaub to gain trust in our other good recievers against a good defense. While we may not win, it may be a good lesson for him. AJ is pulling in almost all the receptions so far.

when preseason games start counting in the standings, then I'll care who wins in preseason. Go Boys!

And the Texans looked pretty darn good this last sunday. Remember, Houston was the last team to beat the Colts.

Walters, Jones, Davis......all good recievers. Good hands, Walters runs good routes. If you have watched the Texans in every game, including preseason, you would have seen this. Since AJ is such a stud, he is almost always open, so he is going to get the big plays. Walters is great in the slot, he will catch the ball and take big hits with no problems. Not to mention he can get open for the big plays. Jones isn't proven on his routes yet IMO, but he can step up and make big plays and catches also, then is deadly fast. Davis was solid all around. If Schaub gets comfortable with these guys in the next couple games, we could end up with a receiving core comparable to Harris/Wayne or any other elite corp.
