Speed limit through most of it is 60 mph.
I can understand some of the residents complaints, it seems like regularly there's some squid being pulled out of the trees / out of a ditch up there.

The Forest is dead for motorcyclists now IMO anyways.

It's becoming too populated with the new subdivisions going in, and too much hassle with over zealous forest service agents targeting / ticketing motorcyclists for speeding, even when we're riding BELOW the posted limit.

There will be some other excuse. Brena, if by chance you DO show up one weekend, please don't park next to me, my paint is too purdy for your bike to be knocking it over.

EDIT: I didn't even read the last page yet. . . . and there was already an excuse for an excuse that hasn;t even happened yet.

I'm sure they can tell when people are doing 180 thru there.

Agree, I stopped riding through there years ago. Either your stuck behind a pack of Harleys or cops are all over the place.

Actually, in the "Forest" there are very few side roads and no driveways.. but north or south of it there are, and people should respect that.

I am amazed that there haven't been any complaints or signs along the way to Fayetteville... that is a regular Sun race track these days..

But I still say the average ma and pa in their living room can't tell a 20 mph speed difference either way.
