Top 10 reasons to Hate My Cruiser!

I've been riding a Cruiser ONE WEEK. And I have some complaints none of you "Stunta" or "Sporter" buddies thought to share with me!

#10 - The "other" crazy people on the road. (I didn't know you were scarred of me on my l'il O'l Cell Phone in my BIG, Red Truck.)

#9 - Non-Gear wearing/using Squids (Respect! Natual selection at it's Peak.)

#8 - Sharing my new found Uh...Joy/Friends with everyone else - (Nobody cares!)

#7 - The legal drinking limit is 0.0 (Who knew one drink could reek so much havoc!)

#6 - Knowing I will outgrow my Yami Virago 250 really fast and already wanting another, bigger/more expensive ride! (Kawi Mean Streak - Red/Black Matte - Wish is came in Yellow/Blk Matte)

#5 - Husband rides a Sportsbike too fast! (What's up with that - Does he have a death wish? One more speeding ticket and it won't be the bike that kills him!)

#4 - Wind Buffetting that will pull you off your bike or your gear off of you! (No wonder people invest in windshields - And why don't Manufacturers sell the bikes with them the blankity-blank money hungry so-n-so's!)

#3 - Becoming a Gear . (So that's why my hubby needed 3 jackets/helmets/boots/etc. etc. ad nauseum - even though you can only wear one at a time.)

#2 - Wanting to ride more - but it HURTS and I'm TIRED! (The stress of learning to ride, the heat, the tension in my shoulders, the pain in my A**! And yet somthing compels me...)

And the #1 Reason I hate riding my own Cruiser instead of a Cage

#1 - SMELL-O-VISION! (What is THAT SMELL! A skunk? Dead Cow? Someone buring dirty diapers/porta potties? Who knew the world smelled this bad! And Heaven forbid you get behind a Big Rig belching black! BLEGH!!!

Clyde... you did not go there did you You know even on your "sport bikes" you can smell all of the marvelous smells out there It is the simple fact you are not enclosed in a cage. The whole world is different when you don't have a box around you.

The Smell-O-Vision can work to your benefit too though. Some night you'll be riding along under a full moon and pass a yard filled with night blooming jasmine or another fragrant flower/bush, and it'll be great. The fall's nifty too. I love autumn sniffies:cozy fireplace smoke, the earthy smells coming from plants preparing for winter, winds carrying wafts of baking pies/cookies.

True. I particularly like the fertilizer plant that I ride past. The fragrances are "odoriferous" (to quote Hulk Hogan)

You must be riding in the wrong areas. Try riding past a bread bakery at night, there's lots of them around. Or ride down a country road that goes through a newly mown hay field in the spring.
