Fairing repair or place to buy them locally

My bike fell off a lift at my shop and when the frame slider bolt broke it took a majority of the fairing with it, I need to have some of the other fairings fixed anyways so I need a new fairing and some repaired (most of the mounting tabs are broken). If this was car related I know a million people dont know about finding what I need.....please help

thanks

Plastic repair is not easy or cheap to have done professionally, but you can do it yourself to save money. There is a book out that a friend of mine has that seemed pretty cool, and he's used the techniques (way better than the one in our "how to" section.

If you're wanting someone else to do the work, prepare yourself for the cost. Replacement is a great option, and ebay can be your friend if you're patient.

If you want new stuff, let me know, I have a great supplier from Cali that sells awesome bodywork for cheap.

Otherwise, hit Tony (Houseofpain) up for a quote- he's a site sponsor.

I can help you out if you're on the SW side, Tony is on the NW side.

thanks I sent him a message, I am sure it is going to be costly, the only thing I have found on ebay is a entire set and one fairing that is all messed up. I really think the full set prepainted is going to be my best option cost wise, but the place I found them at is in like hong kong and it seems like a scam, idk. Does that place in cali have a web site, I really want some sort of an idea on how much I am going to lay down.

thanks for your help

$500 shipped, but idk about the upper for your bike as a street application. I think they make one for the street, but not 100% sure. It's just raw fiberglass bodywork, must be painted.

Getting "rashed" bodywork is much better than cracked or broken bodywork if you're buying used. Rash is much easier and less time consuming to repair.

no the six stuff is different, but I did find a ebay store that stock the Cheetah brand stuff fairly cheap, after looking more I think all I will need is two fairings total and have everything else repainted at the same time, not bad....

Thanks for the help, I might hit you up for paint though. I found out one of the guys that works for me does paint work too, so he might do the work but I am not for sure.

NP. Hit me up if you need to, no worries either way. Def hit up Tony if you're in his area, he does awesome work.

If you can find Cheetah for a good price, that's cool, that's good stuff.

If you're looking for stock stuff I've got good pricing, typically a lot lower than OEM.
