New RideSmart Dates- MSR-H

Quote:
Three New RideSmart Dates!

Monday, October 15th RideSmart will be back at MotorSport Ranch Houston for the first time in one and a half years. It's an exciting 2.4 mile track with a great combination of three long straights and plenty of turns. Over the past year, MSR Houston has made many upgrades and improvements to the track, so we are excited to get back there and experience the changes for ourselves. Cost is $135.

How much is LMS and how do we sign up for it? Coz, it is all too confusing to read through the stuff on the section..

LMS is $175....and you get 30 minute sessions with a maximum of 30 riders, it's not flexible either....maximum of 30 riders. best bang for the buck. plenty of track time with little traffic.

check the schedule in the sponsors section....and email slowboattx@yahoo.com for registration. Buck goes by the honor system, so you sign up now, and pay at the track.

yup. its $186 after taxes and cap is 25-30 (dont know if this includes instructors) but you may run with only about 10-15 riders since most sit out half the sessions or just skip some because its alot of tracktime to be had.

The cool thing about it is there is never 25 rider on the track at the same time. seems more like 20 at the most if that. Lost of room to haul ! If your bike isn't banged up

ps... you can litterally grab an instructor and say HELP ME!!!

I just wish Buck put on events at more tracks than just MSR

I agree the price is good, but given only my little track experience at MSRH (with Buck's Noob Days), I can see how 50 riders would be a bad thing, from both a safety and teaching perspective.

The new sections are not being used yet so the bumps are still in play. With the new T1 you should end up outside the bumps going into 2 but we'll have to see how the line actually comes off. We'll be running the new section on 10/13 I think, depends on the cure rate. T1 looks sweet, can't wait to run it, should drop lap times a bit, but then again maybe not with a small chicane in there.

that's what kinda tripped me out on saturday when i came to check out the new layout. maybe they forgot to add some asphalt, so the turn wouldn't look like that? i'm kinda liking the old turn 1, but i guess we'll just wait and see. can't wait to ride MSRH with all the renovations.

I think the new T1 is going to be my favorite turn on the track. I really like those fast chicanes like that.

MSR is exactly 13.1 miles south of Hwy 6 on the left hand side of the highway. Traveling south on Hwy 288, exit SOUTH CR 48 (not to be confused with CR 48). SOUTH CR 48 is right after FM1462/Rosharon - just after you cross the power lines. You can't miss it.
