My daughter, Syvanna, is 10 (11 in Nov) and my son is 9. He's 30lbs heavier and 3" taller, though. He's about 4" shorter than I am, and weighs nearly 100lbs. He wears a size 8! And his HANDS- they're as big as mine. Meaner's son is 12 (3 years older to the month) and smaller than my Jakob. He's just a big kid.

Since you asked, I have to brag: Meaner and I have four - two boys and two girls (one of each for us both) but since we live so close, they are pretty interchangeable! The boys are 3 years apart, the girls only 4+ months. They are ALL very good kids, straight A students- no conduct problems. The girls want to ride motocross, the oldest boy is smart and a super athlete and can do ANYTHING, my son plays baseball and football, but not very well! He's a genius, though, so I guess it's okay that he'll get a job using his mind and not his body.

My daughter suffered a very traumatic injury in May '06 when an old oak tree which was previously cut (but still attached to the stump) rolled off and on to her leg, crushing it. She's doing great, saved the leg with much scarring- most days she thinks her scars are cool.

Over all- Life is good! No complaints here!

Thats awesome the kids will carry on life when were gone, nice that everyone is so close too, I have a sister and was very close to her 4 kids years ago, and they moved to oklahoma and the kids grew up and have kids of there own, and I hardly know them, that really sux, teach them to ride young, my kids are grown and never rode now my sone wants a R1 or busa, and it scares the outa me, I know how he is, fast driver, I have no idea where he gets that from Man U,r daughter injury, thats terrible, very sorry to hear that, but sometimes U can make a negative a positive, I know thats hard to understand, but what u gonna do, I know that had to hurt U guys soo bad, not being able to do anything about it, but at least she thinks the scars are cool, My neice stood up on a glass table and busted it, cut her leg real bad, surgeries and all, purdy bad scarring, but she tells her friends it is a shark bite I told her she was too young for table dances At least life is good, we all have troubles in life, just gotta be strong and work thru it, dam ranting, sorry
