My worst injury came during a TMGP race...

Up at Denton me and Kris got tboned going into the 180 degree left hander at the end of the back straight. I supermanned over the handle bars and had the NSR land on my left ankle. It hurt like a son of a gun, but I didn't take off my boot cause I knew it would baloon up. Well, got back to the pits and fixed the rearset. I went back out and proceeded to set my fastest laps after that.

Turns out I torn the outter ligament in my right ankle and surprisingly it was cut up real bad... 4 weeks of ankle stretches and strength building exercises and it was back to normal.

Concussion, chipped L1 vertebra, fractured collar bone, gash in my left foot, stitches for a small gash on my left elbow, and sprained right thumb ...from one crash end of July, got t-boned. Still recovering... and as Moody, I consider myself lucky.

Since other people list injuries outside of riding bikes, this is from riding horses: broke ankle and once elbow.

Cletus, the most curious thing is that you write "women"--plural. More than one woman has attacked you with intent to harm using her teeth? When's the book gonna be published?

They did intend harm but didn't leave marks. I consider myself lucky too.

Once I was told that without pain was like food without taste. I have tried to stay out of Wyoming since then...

I almost lost my arm due to a car wreck...as far as motorcycle goes...i wear full leathers when I ride. The one wreck I have had I ended up losing a toe nail and having a bruised heal.

Two fractured vertebra, a half a dime shape hole in one of my neck vertebra, multiple broken fingers and toes, broken foot, multiple knee injuries / surgeries, multiple concussions, some but not a lot of rash, (I wear good quality gear so I've been fortunate with that one), dislocated shoulder (multiple times), bruised kidneys, fractured ribs, and a collapsed lung.

I'm 45 and work out / stretch regularly, but some days my whole body hurts.

My hand writing sucks from a badly broken thumb at Oak Hill, (o.k. so it wasn't too hot before) and I can predict rain better than most weather men.

I attribute most of the reason I'm still here to good quality gear and to being in reasonably good shape, oh, and nowadays Advil is one of my best friends!

I crashed in the mountains of North Georgia about 15 years ago on a GSXR 1100. Wearing full gear and a good helmet, I broke three ribs, shoulder blade, collar bone (still carry that lump), dislocated a shoulder and got a nasty concussion. I feel some of those more now than I did ten years ago. I can't wait to see how hard it's gonna be to get out of bed twenty years from now. :/:

On a bike? A SMALL amount of rash on the outside of my right knee from falling in my old jobs parking lot at maybe 5 mph. 1 1/2 months later there wasn't even a scar. I think I may have broken the big toe on my left foot since the bike fell on it(I was trying to protect it).

That's about it.
