2 more standups, one on the way. . .

Since i still don't have doctor clearance to ride a big bike I've become addicted to these stand up jet ski's!!! Cutting buoys with the boys and riding in the surf are more fun than i can explain. I picked up this combo for a few hundred bucks last weekend. 1987 650sx(yellow ski) and 1991 550sx(red ski), and i have another (MINT) 1987 650sx on the way for $100!!! I should have at least two ski's with me at Shadman's beash house

neither of these two run at the moment, but I'm one starter relay from having the yellow ski up and running(it's in the mail), and the other 650sx I'm picking up only needs a carb kit. I'll be selling both 650's(after paint jobs) and keeping the 550 for myself, it's got LOTS of parts on the motor and driveline.

It'll be a while before they're ready for sale, I'm not putting my reputation on the line with them looking this haggard, but i will post a for sale ad here when they're ready

I've ridden my old 440 and later 550 around the beach a bunch. If you need any 550 parts gimme a shout. I think I have a couple of buckets of engines, aftermarket pipes, and carbs in the garage. Maybe, maybe not.

there was a 650 for sale on here with no title for $300. you can buy a HIN plate(VIN tag) off of some local forums with a title for $50, and then register the ski. No one really cares about these old ski's any more so they are worth more in parts than they are whole.:/: Feel free to post up any questions you have (i sell Kawasaki parts for a living) and ill help you the best i can. PM me for more info on used parts. JET

I got the 650sx fired up today. Compression is a little low in each cylinder (but even across the two) yet still within spec. Ran like $hit on the trailer, obviously some jetting issues to work out before i take her out next weekend. All in all the 650 only needed a starter switch, carb rebuild, spark plugs and 10 feet of fuel line to get going again. As soon as it cools off around here(december?) I'll tear the ski totally apart and give it a total overhaul. The parts for the 550 are starting to trickle in and i should have it fired by the end of the month!! Stay tuned
