when my daughter was about 12 she asked what the raised white bumps in the road were, I told her that was brail for blind drivers; four years later when she was in driver's ed the instructor asked who knows why we have the raised bumps dividing the lanes and she quickly raised her hand cuz she knew this one. Needless to say she got quite a reaction and was off when she got home. She now knows what they are for.
