i live a few miles away from Alberto and plan on checking on him quite often once he gets to come home! Great idea Logan!

I spoke to Lindy last night at 5:40, he was still in surgery but, i haven't heard any news on how it went. I did find out that his brother has flown in to town to be with him.

His brother is in town unitl Sunday I think, Lindy is still up there too. The surgery went well and he is back in the CCU. Still some work to do, and he'll be back in surgery today (Friday) for his femur.

The possibility is back that he may go to a "regular" room either tonight or tomorrow, but doubtful. All dependent on how he responds after surgery.

Just got back from visiting with Alberto.

He's doing great! Breathing tubes have been removed from him, he's breathing on his own now! has to do breathing exercises once an hour, he was talking to us, smiling and laughing. .

Joneric and I spent almost 2 hours with him, he's doing great. He can't wait to get out, he still hasn't eaten, or drank anything since monday so he's really really craving ICE.

He's hungry for some tacos, tortas, and tamales! We're gonna have to do a little get to together when he gets out.

He may possibly get moved tonight into a less active area in the hospital that requires a little less nurse sitting. too much traffic in the area that he's in now.

Hang in there bro, you're doing great in your recovery effort!

NOTHER UPDATE

Alberto is doing great. Dr's expect to see him leave within the next 2-3 weeks if not sooner.

He sends a BIG HUGE THANKS to all of the MH family on his behalf.

He wishes not to have visitors until he is at home so maybe once he's out and feeling up to it, we can arrange a get together with him somewhere!

I'll leave all the details for Alberto to post up but that is it for the moment!!!

Hang in there mang, you're doing great!

I met lindy's father on Sat. she works for him and is very supportive and helpful to both of them.. He said (of course) she can take off all the time she needs.

seems to be great families on both sides.

we went to visit last night, he's doing a little better. he keeps getting a high fever and they don't know what is causing it. this is keeping him down, he's strong and wants to heal up and leave as quick as possible. I feel somewhat helpless but, there isn't much i/we can do to help him besides giving him moral support. please keep him and his family in your prayers..

His brother and G/F are stuck by his side so, he has plenty of support throughout the day..
