Actually, I'm not really asking if I should get married right now or not, I'm asking what I should buy? And even then, I'm only interested in comments I really am not looking to a public forum for assurnace that it is time for marraige

BUT it's always fun to see what other people say.

Well I found out really quick, once you buy the ring, she immediately goes into planning mode. Therefore you will have expense upon expense to save for. I say get the tail section and exhaust if she isn't one of those girls that are getting tired of waiting. Once you buy the ring, you have a year of paying deposits upon deposits, and buying so much crud for the wedding. Unless you plan on loping (sp?) then you might actually be able to get the tail section later.

UPDATE!!!!

Well I thought about what makes me the happiest. It didn't take long because I know the answer before I ever asked you guys/girls the question.

I booked a vacation for her and I to Walt Disney World in Florida the day after she graduates from the University of Texas (). Her dream has been to be proposed to at Disney World so I'm going to do my best to make at least that dream come true. I have been dating her for the last 3 years, and before that we hooked up for a little while in highschool when we met in summer school but it didn't last long.

Anyway, enough of the ranting. I figure, I love my bike, but if I don't have someone I love telling me how hot I look on the bike, then whats the use?

Besides, marraige is about sacrifices. She is the only girl that comes to mind that is worth sacrificing a motorcycle for, I'm glad she has never tried to make me. I've watched my parents be happier than any couple I've ever seen, married for 24 years with 4 children, 3 in college and 1 in high school.

So sorry for the long post, but I just thought I'de share with my future milestone in life

We need pics of your girlfriend to be able to give you an unbiased answer.

What! You have already decided?

You didn't even keep this up long enough for me to chime in before you spent the dough.

SHAME ON YOU, for even mentioning that. you must not have been riding long enough, or you have not become "one" with two wheels.

if you get her the ring, she might be so happy that she buys the other stuff for you...especially if she's graduating and getting a real job.

I guess the real question here is How much money does she make?? See the way I see a working wife is better than a pumping oil well. So if thats the case buy the ring and let her buy you the exhaust, and a steering damper, and some new rims....... If she the stay at home wife type then you need to order your exhaust.

yes, you may have made the right choice......BUT PLEASE do not mention sacrificing motorcycles for anything!!!!

i'd give my left arm before i would sacrifice motorcycles.....and even then, i'll get someone to rig me a clutch on the same side as the brake/throttle...and i'll hold onto the bike with my prosthetic arm.
