ZX636 feeler?

hi to whomever may read this, i just wanted to get a feel for interest/options in a wrecked '04 ZX636 that i recently acquired.

here's the situ.: the bike had ~1000 miles and was totalled in the front, but not turned in to insurance, so it's got a brand-new frame and a clear title but no front end. it needs triples tubes, axle wheels, calipers, basically the whole frontend.

now i know i can find this stuff on ebay and make a rideable bike again for about ~$1000 or so. i can also just totally part it out on ebay and break even or make a little $$$

my question is, what would you do? part it? repair and sell? try and sell as-is? i'd like to get ~$2750 as-is. is this reasonable? for someone who's resourceful and mechanically inclined, spending another $1000, would make a decent track or road bike for around $4000 i think and wouldn't be a bad deal at all...

thoughts/opinions?

I personally wouldn't pay that much for it. After all is said and done, for maybe 500 more I can get a bike that's never been wrecked. Not only that, I probably won't have to so much as turn a wrench on it either. If I were you I'd part it out.
