Gotta learn sometime....just don't touch your rear break if you do. I'm riding tomorrow morning and the weather says POSSIBLE rain after 12. So we'll see what happens. If it does rain it shouldn't be very hard anyways.

If it starts raining hard while you are on the road, try to sit out the first 5 min to let the roadsud get washed away and +1 on not using your rear brake. Also, be careful when stopping at intersections that have oil or other fluid built up. And don't use your rear brake there for sure (don't ask how I know).

Otherwise, stay smooth and you'll be fine. Wet, but fine.

i try not to ride in the rain but it seems like everytime i ride my bike to work it rains... +1 on not touching rear brakes.... obviously slow your speed a bit but not enough to make you a hazard to other drivers... be safe

SUck it up, and do it, +1 not using rear brakes, take is easy, and watch for large puddles or any standing water, Hydroplaining on a bike enduces HPF (high pucker factor)

It is no big deal to ride in the rain...just remember to be easy on the throttle and easy on the brakes. Everyone has a first time in the rain.

only thing that really bothers me about riding in the rain.. is you cant see big pot holes with them filled with water.. and the visor seems to fog lots more in the rain.. so between not being able to see out my visor.. and worrying about big pot holes filled with water that i can see anyway .. i just stay home..

lol, true. I don't have too much issues with fogging in the rain. only the I hate about rain riding is cleaning the bike and regreasing everything afterwards.

Ridin in the rain isn't the problem for me, it's all the cagers that suddenly forget how to opperate a vehicle like they have never witnessed the miracle of water falling out of the sky

Ridiing in the rain if fun once you get over being wet and not able to see

Went on a early ride up north this morning with the roads still damp and man that rear tire likes to slide.
