If you half- it, it will be cheap. There are always tricks and shortcuts (like Tapeworks above), but they are quite obvious when you see them up close.

The paint jobs that the MotoGP guys have cost thousands and thousands of dollars.

You can paint track bodywork in the "spirit" of the factory jobs.

My experience is that really expensive paint jobs on track bikes are an exercise in futility. They bang up and get scratched regularly, and then if you crash or something, they are even more expensive to repair and then try to duplicate.

I would keep it simple unless you have a lot of money to work with.

jump on ebay to buy the sticker kit ($100-150) paint the bike one or two colors and then add the sticker kit!

You're done!

This one: replica paint jobs

would not be too bad to do, but the graphics would be expensive (if you did them too). The base paint job would not be too bad...

motogp replicas would be good for a street bike, but for track, if you crash it.....you gotta do it all over again.

as Tom (tomlstd) said.....it's best to stay simple....if you crash, repairs will be cheaper (because it'll be easier to repair/repaint). but if you got money that you don't like.....let's talk

I read in the last edition of motorcyclist about a racing body kit just like that, that will be available for the 2007 r1 and the 2006/07 r6 later nest year. There will be a limited supply directly from yamaha so you can expect to pay top price for those, you might want to check with your yamaha dealer.
