XR70 - Throttle Tube Problem

The throttle on my XR70 isn't snapping back like it should. At first I though that it was jamming against the bar but I checked it and that's not the case. I tried greasing up the bar and the inside of the tube but that didn't help much. Any ideas?

billet throttle ftw. I have a spare if you want to try it out. or:

cut the outer end of the plastic throttle tube off(about 1/8") so it is open, then you can install a universal bar-end(cycle gear 8.00).

Cable? Set it up with a funnel, poor some oil and let it run down.

If there's nothing wrong with your throttle tube, check to see if your slide is hanging up inside the carb or the spring is broken.
Lastly check to make sure the cable moves smoothly. If it's pinched internally due to a crash, that could be the source of your problem.
