Hodgson and Duhamel AMA SBK team

Zemke is out, man i really didn't see that coming. I though Duhamel was going to be out.

Hodgson Confirmed As DuHamel's 2008 Teammate

As expected, American Honda debuted their 2008 factory Superbike team to their dealers last night at the annual Honda dealer show in Anaheim. Miguel DuHamel was announced as a 2008 rider as was former WSBK champion Neil Hodgson.

Hodgson is at the dealer show but made no comment when introduced. DuHamel was on the stage as well, we're told, but his injured ankle was heavily bandaged.

Hodgson and DuHamel will race the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR, which still remains cloaked in secrecy.

Nothing against Hodgson but if I had a choice between him and Zemke on an AMA track I think I would stick with Zemke

Dude,

Hodgson rode a "lab bike" at Laguna and rocked.
Zemke is a good rider but I don't think he is a big fan favorite. It's not just about performance it's the overall package. Neil is a great guy and has the heart of the World Champion that he is. I think Honda made a smart choice in Hodgson.

MIguel has earned the right to pick his retirement, and I for one believe he still has a lot to offer (more than Zemke). Miguel is easily at fast or faster than Zemke at most tracks.

Hodgson is a great selection for Honda. I'm sure Zemke will land on a nice seat.

I hope the Hondas have something for the suzies next year.

I love those.

A few of my personal faves off the top of my head...

- Chuck Norris doesn't sleep... he waits.

- Chuck Norris uses Tabasco sauce for Visine.

- Crop circles are just Chuck Norris' way of telling corn to lye the f**k down.

I dig Hodgy. A classy guy who's fast and loves America. Glad to have him back.

I like Chuck. He has a great exercise machine.
It's done wonders for Jeff's physique.

I'm glad Hodgson is coming back. If nothing else, just for the interviews on soupkast. Entertaining guy.

Man thats a bummer,Zempke seems like a cool cat and he did have a win in ama superbike last year-thats more than you can say for Hodgson when he was on the 999-did he ever even get on the podium in the states? Former w.s.b. champ i understand but he was usually midpack at the a.m.a rounds. Plus I am afraid Zemke is stuck out. Maybe someone like Jordan will pick him up.
