they used some of the same footage in all the reports... seems if it is so prevalant that they could have gone back out and got new footage

yes, he just said that... I know if someone was going 15 mph in front of me, waving me by, and I could see, I'd defintely pass on the double. Normally, I wouldn't. Therefore, its staged, they acted in a way that would induce even cautious drivers to pass on a double yellow.
And the rebuttal to the # of deaths is that its a curvy, dangerous road that motorists are using improperly, and the deaths are not single motorcycle accidents (as are so prevalent at the gap) but cage versus bike accidents, and in many cases its likely the car was as much or more at fault than the rider.

and since when are BMW touring bikes considered sportbikes.. i saw a few of those pass on the double yellow. i think it's motorcycles in general, he just tries to label it as just sportbikes

here's some riding tips, waved on or not passing on the double yellow is still illegal.

#1 cause of single bike accidents: running of the road in a curve.

i don't have sound, so i just saw the vids.
