Just got in from seeing Tim. He's had a long day today. His spirits are up and should be up to seeing some people in a few days.

Heal up Timmy Boy!!!!!!!!!!!

Having riden with him, I know he is a smart rider. We did a 500 mile trip on Christmas together and he never once tried to show off or ride over his head.

You're in my prayers man!

Good to see you last night Timmy!!! , I can't believe how good you looked. I expected all sorts of macgyver type rigs, holding legs and arms up....I was suprised only to see you walking down the hall (with the help of a cane). Glad to hear you are making incredible progress and hope that it continues that way. Good luck on your return home in a couple of days as well. Like I said before, I'll be by with Martin to come visit and what not. Take care bro...glad you're gonna pull through...no doubt in my mind. Remember, take it slow....don't worry about another bike yet, it will come with time.

I didn't even know until this morning that it was Tim tdubya. I don't like to look at rider down threads too much anymore and didn't stay with the updates...

Glad he is doing better and he definitely had an angel watching over him.

Keep up the great recovery!

I am back home!

I am finally back home!

Never even saw this thread until now

Geuss I wasn't too good at searching on the hospital computers hopped up on medication.....

A big thanks to everybody for all the concern and the lack of preaching on this thread. I do not know what happened, and quite frankly at this point do not care. I am too focused on moving forward and getting better. However I do hope to be an example to others that happens, and to accept and plan for it, and to ride safe and with gear. (and to take it to the track, no lightpoles) And to understand that one of the worst effects of this kind of tragedy is the stress and worry it inflicts on those close to you.

Injurie tallies include broken leg, arm, pinkie finger, most ride side ribs, some left ribs, broken right side vetabrae petacles, collapsed lung, lacerated kidney and liver, hemotoma to flank (abrasion and bruising for internal bleeding), chipped tooth, football sized bruise to left flank, abrasions and burns, and everything else got the beat to tumble treatment. Initially they thought they might chop my leg and take my kidney. I kept both.

However I was lucky to live, and my luck has continued in the healing process. I had health insuracne (estimated bills of about .5 mill) and have healed incredibly fast.

Surgeries went well, infections were licked, complications avoided. In my leg they put a titanium rod that allowed my to bear weight on it with no cast so I was able to start rehabbing quickly.

I managed to make it out of the hospital and basic rehab in about a month, which was much quicker than expected, to be released to my parents house and care. That lasted about 4 days And i am now home They just cant keep me down!

It has been hard work getting adjusted, but the harder i work at things the better I get. Friends, family, and MH have been great throughout this ordeal.

Yall ride safe, wear your gear. I wish I was out there riding, esp now that the weather is getting cooler.

Amazing!

I guess I am gonna quit complaining with my broken collarbone and burn on my foot. You'll be riding before I am.

Hey, btw, if you need a reference for woundcare, I have an excellent addres...

Thank goodness for healthinsurance but co-pay can still bite.

Continue to heal up quick! Looking forward to seeing you around again soon.
