ROAD TRIP!!!

I'm going on a road trip with some friends from Baton Rouge on the 20th. I'm meeting them in Dallas, then we're going to Colorado for a day or two. After that we're off to Moab Utah for a day, then Vegas for about 3 days. Coming back we will hit the Grand Canyon and continue on through Arizona, New Mexico, possibly hit Big Bend if time permits, and ride I-10 back to Houston, arriving on Sunday the 30th.

There is no official itinarary other than the ride organizer meeting his wife in Vegas to celebrate their anniversary from Tuesday to Friday.

Here is a link with more info and some AWESOME pics from last year.

Any takers?

Heck no! I'm a Tiger fan! Just 3 to 0 in the first quater was a little bit scarey.
Yeah, maybe I need to try that one on my wife. Honey I'm going to just have to work half-weeks for a while I'm going crazy. LOL

See ya,

uh.... sorry to bring up a sore point, I was just curious...lol
Have a gsxr 750 and would love to make a ride like this... but that was my first thought. guess u could ups a box of clothes to your hotel and just pack a bag for the trip? then ups dirty clothes back home. I am sure concierge at hotel would assist you with that.

Brian suggested that I buy a couple packs of underwear and t-shirts and wear only that under my riding suit. Then just throw them away as they get dirty. Every few days I can rinse out my riding suit in the bathtub and let it drip dry. I'll pack some clothes for the time I spend in Vegas. I also want to bring my laptop and digital camera. I'll need something waterproof for those items.

you may want to get a touring windscreen or look into some handlebar risers or heli bars, if you don't already have them

I once had a double bubble windscreen, but I didn't think it helped that much. I do want to get a throttlemeister for the trip. I'm not familiar with heli-bars but I'll look into them.
