they said on the news they were going after the driver for felony hit and run, vehicular manslaughter, and DUI manslaughter.... I didn't pay attention to which news it was but I guess there was alcohol involved?

Man charged in deadly hit-and-run
August 31, 2007
With the help of witnesses, Houston police have arrested and charged a man in a deadly hit-and-run wreck.

A woman riding a motorcycle was killed on the Katy Freeway early Friday morning.
The white Tahoe took off, but witnesses followed it and got the license plate number.

The victim has not yet been identified.

, just saw this on the news. RIP.....

One reason why I don't ride after 11:00 pm anymore - the percentage of drivers who are impaired or have been drinking is much higher.

most hit and runs at night are usually because the person had a blood alcohol level higher than the legal limit. so they run to avoid getting caught with a DWI and just take the hit and run.

read this on some psychological writing when i had to do a reading for psychology class.

I saw a large group of bikers last night (leaving PP1?) @ midnight ( I work at 610 / Westheimer) heading north on 610. It was a large group of about 20 bikes. Bummer. I would like to ride in the procession of her family allows.

That was us leaving PP1. Monica had left about 10 minutes before that.
