what time and what part of westheimer? once you get outside the beltway after midnight, I wouldnt assume that ANYONE is going to stop for the light untill I see them doing it.

I'm just about ready to get a petition together and forward it to the appropriate representitives. The DA needs to start prosecuting these people. Most of them get a slap on the wrist ... for HIT & RUN!

Sadly, the laws need to change. Currently, hit-and-run "involving personal injury or death", has a maximum sentencing of:

(1) imprisonment in the institutional division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for not more than five years or confinement in the county jail for not more than one year;
(2) a fine not to exceed $5,000; or
(3) both the fine and the imprisonment or confinement.

(from 550.021. ACCIDENT INVOLVING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.)

It is supposed to get more severe if done more than once; but the above is the way the law is written right now.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
