What should I do?

So when riding my bike in 5 and 6th gear at upwards around 70-90 mph was "sputtering"? Any ideas and Suggestions would help a lot

A little more info about the bike would make this a lot easier.

What year / bike is it?
How many miles are on the bike?
When was the last time it was serviced?
Did you just recently fill your tank?

Did you notice the problem right after you filled it up but it wasn't doing it before?
If so, you may have gotten a load of bad fuel.
If so add some Stabil and a water dispersant to the tank.

Vapor lock... open gas cap and see if air escapes...(you will feel and hear a vaccuum/suction sound)... if so the lines are not routed properly or you have some type of venting issue....

I think plugs should be replaced every 7,500 but you could have got some bad gas like Patrick said what brand did you use and what octane level did you get please dont tell me Regular Unleaded ?
