Believe this has been posted in the past, but that doesn't change the carnage. It's just like fighting. Once you step into the ring you MUST protect yourself at all times. Not saying it's his fault, but you always have to be watching out for the other guy.

I think being on a scooter instead of a bike saved his , he just went flying airborn as the car hit the side of the scoot, on a bike his leg would have been instantly shattered and pinned him between the bike and the car forwhatever carnage lied ahead (the car then slamming off the cement thing, perhaps with the rider sandwiched between, instead of flying clear?)

Well, car driver is certainly pretty stupid for running the light, but thats nothing too special. He was the first person to check the guy and was on his cell pretty quick.... calling mommy? Kinda looks like the scooter guy is wearing a lid but I cant really tell, of all ways to get hit he was probably as lucky as a person can possibly get.
