Yeah hit me up before you buy a kit, I can give you some recommendations on which kits to buy and why...I can probably even find you a deal on a good used kit(which will save you a ton of money and probably already have the upgrades you will want)

I figure the 80k mile bike is a test mule, to blow up and part out. My old 2002 will be the final recipient. I don't want massive power, maybe just 5 lbs boost and 200hp.

I love Busas, and saying "only" 200 hp wih a straight face!

I'm starting to get excited again. Hopefully I will get the old Busa tomorrow and Michael's in a week or two when a check clears....

OH you won't make 200 nuthin..... 6-7lbs of boost on a stocker will make 230hp easy on pump gas....probably closer to 240. But they melt easy. If you set it up right the first time, it won't melt and your 80k bike will no longer be the test bed, it will be the finished product.....You could put water injection on it, run 8-9lbs of boost on pump gas and make 260-270hp.

My best recommendation is buy an intercooled kit, put a spacer in the motor to lower the compression and make 300hp on pump gas all day long. That is more then you need on the street. On a stock wheelbase, stock height busa, that = 3rd and 4th gear power wheelies.
