U of H and HPD

Started enforcing parking tickets today, according to my wife there were HPD officers giving away 15+ parking tickets for motorcycles who parked in the 'fire zone' ....

if you were one of those, come on... admit it sucka. ..

For the first 2 weeks of school they dont enforece parking zones or parking permits, so alot of bikers were parking in the Red zone or in handicap spots and sometimes even on the sidewalk. Well today was day 1 of enforcement, and my wife said she was laughing her off watching the cop walk around trying to find most of their license plates.. haha..

i watched UH parking peeps try to ticket my bike for i'm guessing no parking sticker at the dorms, from a dorm window. he couldnt find a place that the yellow envelope would stay. i saw him twice try to tuck it in between my seat and the tank, and both times it blew off the bike.

after he chased the second one i guess he saw my parking sticker and walked off.

i know all the secret parking spots at UH, my favorites are the 20 minute parking spots that I'd be in for 5 hours.

is the tank bag you have specifically designed for 929's ? or is it just a magnetic one, or with straps ?

HPD now has the right to give parking tickets at U of H? Back in the day it was just campus police.

I used to park my bike right up to the door, even at the Architecture building with no problems (Class of '91). I lived on campus, and parked in front of Moody Towers. I don't recall anyones bikes getting stolen back then. That sucks how times have changed.

UH doesn't use HPD, the campus cops are UHPD.

and flip got his bike stolen from the central main campus. The only bad luck i've had there was some huge guy sitting on my bike when I returned.
