Send a message via AIM to Los
the longest I've been unemployed was for a week and even then I was shittin bricks. Get a yob and start asking for referrals. even if you have to look in the greensheet... dont really recommend that though. haha.. Look Online and browse the Job section here on MH.

There are plenty of jobs out there right now since a lot of college kids are going back to school full time again.

Well If any of you have read some of my previous threads, I was speaking to this guy about his 'drag bike'. 1998 bandit that was doing mid 8's .. in the 1/4.

Well he called me back and offered to trade me his bike = my bike + cash.

I told him I was unemployed and all I have is my bike so he offered me a job.

He works for Tx Co (sp?) doing electrician work. He makes about 80 g's a year.

I'd either

A. Be getting paid 13-14 an hour and working M-T (40 hrs a week) with some Fridays and a $20 Per Diem for gas and food. Working as an electrician's helper.

B. Be Getting paid the same but I'd be a firewatcher, putting out small fires and what not, same per-diem.

I prefer choice A because it gives me a chance to create a career and possibly become a journeyman.

So wish me the best of luck cause I go to apply tomorrow morning and he's going to talk to his boss (this guy's a foreman himself, has to talk to his senior foreman) and see if he can get me on his crew as an Electrician's Helper.

Here is my two cents: Take option A, become a journey man. Once you learn the game you have two options:
1. start as lead and move to management.
2. break off on your own and network for contracts.
Either way, you'll be riding a brand new bike and a new truck to tow it with and nice house to store it at, all in the next five to six years.

What a difference one day makes eh? When you get this new job you should go thank the district manager that fired you for getting you a 100% raise and a FUTURE as well...

Hey, I think I remember talking to you at Vito's ... how you had turned that place around in a couple weeks or something. Dude, standing up for what's right and not backing down on ethics is a very tough thing to do, but the right thing to do.

You are to be commended.

Yah I raised their 'sales per car/ticket' ... and after I stood my ground on some messed up stuff, they passed me off like anyone could do my job...

my manager has been there 2 years and he never had a ticket like I got it ..
