Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

How'd I know someone would bring this up Should have figured it be you, too.

I'm sure they have different kind of "blind" spots... in paris they're called "endroit aveugle"... and in Australia, they're "blind spots, mate!"

THAT'S WHY I ALWAYS MAKE SURE I HAVE NO VEHICLES TRAVELING NEXT TO ME IN AT LEAST ONE OF THE ADJACENT LANES. LAST SUNDAY I WAS ON 610 IN THE MORNING AND ONE THIRD AGE DECIDED TO MERGE INTO MY LANE EVEN THOUGH I WAS RIGHT NEXT TO HER, BY THE WAY SHE WAS ON THE LEFTEST LANE DOING ABOUT 75 OR SO. THEN, ANOTHER DAY I WAS RIDING ON ALABAMA/MONTROSE FROM HOME AND ONE LADY ALMOST HIT ME WHEN SHE WAS TRYING TO MERGE INTO THE LEFT LANE, I WAS ABLE TO EVADE IT FORTUNATELY. THEN, WHEN I STOPED AT THE TRAFIC LIGHT SHE PULLED OVER NEXT TO ME AND SAID SHE WAS REALLY SORRY. I BELIEVE PEOPLE ABOVE 65 SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE FOR THEY DON'T HAVE THE SAME LEVEL OF AWARENESS ABOUT THE DETAILS OF THE ROAD.

Maybe not... sounds like a law that needs to be passed tho.. because it is a convenient out for some people.

But that is another thread entirely! BOT!

People are going to cut you off and run into your lane. They don't give a $hit.
Same here. The bike is my main mode of transportation. I just got me a vest made by Olympia in High-Viz green. I know it looks obnoxious but hope I am more visible for the cagers. It also mandatory use when riding inside Ellington JRB so I have to get it, no option if you want to ride there.

Man, You are missing all the fun....!!! You do not like the danger of commuting in the streets of Houston..?? It keeps you sharp..!! Nothing like an adrenalin boost to start the day at the office. If I'm sleepy, it goes away when I leave home riding the bike (weather permitting)
