not probably" you do have to drill out the rivets Ive done it before, to shorten my exhaust. its fairly easy. Just drill out the existing rivets and then you just reapply new rivets. if you need a rivet gun pm me.

Ive got a yosh TRC slip one(titanium) and was thinking about chopping it down. Does this pose any performance loss issues? Would I need to get it remapped?
(sorry for the thread jack, but i figured youcould use the answers just as much as me)

You have to drill a small access hole at the bottom of the end cap. From there you can either unscrew the allen holding in the silencer or if it's tacked in place you'll have to drill out the bolt. than simply pull out the silencer tube.
