Let's say someone were to talk about me behind my back and then be cool to me in person. If I found out about it I would tell 'em to go **** themselves - if not worse. This is becuase I take that kind of personally.

But what if someone went over therer and griped about us over here, then came back here and griped about us. At least they aren't trying to cover anything up.

I like the idea that this is a forum, a place for opinions and discussion of all kind.

Let 'em go and bash. So long as they're consistent in their stance then let's weed 'em out as we see fit. It's not like they're pulling the wool over anyone's eyes.

I understand that this is a private site and that the administration can filter users as they see fit, but I say filter them for what they say here, not what they say somewhere else.

Let the laws of MH be sovereign and the court be local.

what I'm trying to say, I guess, is that MH itself shouldn't take things personally. It's an outlet for communication right? Let our users judge for themselves the worth of others' contributions.

That's a good motto - I've used it myself many times.

people who disrespect myself or my friends have something coming to them.

I just think it speaks highly of someone who can disregard other's complaints so longs as they will voice those same complaints in person.

MH could welcome them back and say, "well, , what do you have to say for yourself?"

Then we decide whether or not they should be keel-hauled.

And don't get me wrong -- I'm definitely not sticking up for some fence-jumper who likes to trash MH -- I say **** 'em too.

It's just that fascists are the ones who quiet any words of dissent.

That site reminds me of what MH was prior to the moderation and organization that Chris, Henry, Arturo and others employed.

I didn't like MH prior to moderation and organization- I don't think I would have fit in then, and didn't want to.

Now, this site is user friendly, well organized, fun but still disciplined enough to keep the bs to a minimum, and finally, has a lot of good information with users that do a good job of helping out.

Not trying say one is better than the other, who really cares anyway. I just don't dig on the pw'ing and drama. The other site doesn't seem to mind that and it seems that the pw's and drama queens/ kings are the most frequent users that I noticed there. Maybe that will change, but it ain't for me.

I personally am very happy with what Chris and his "staff" have accomplished here. This site has grown in to a very beneficial part of the motorcycling community.

I figure if they jumped ship just because MH was down for a few days and they couldn't get a fix, then they really need to get a LIFE and turn off the dumb box for a bit!!

Jeeez!
