of course every turn you are touching the ground and hold it around the turn. I need to stop doing that too but I'm still on my first set :laughing6

To me if my knee isn't touching then I'm not traveling fast enough and not on my line. Some turn like TWS (Texas World Speedway) turn 10 you have to drag it all the way through but every other turn I rather tap the ground and go, other hand if I'm dragging to long I need a better line. that's me but it doesn't mean you are fast when dragging a knee you might just turned in to early where you have to lean it over more to make it. you can always sign up for B and if they are to fast or don't like it you could ask to go back to C. my 2 cent

The only reason I could see doing it is to figure out where you are...I also hate when I see folks leaning themselves more than the stinkin' bike...you know the guy that is cocked all the way off the side of the bike but the bike is nearly completely vertical :laughing6
I believe there is one advantage to having your weight off the side of the bike while the bike may not be leaned much is: as you move your center of gravity you have to use less lean therefore less tire in the lean meaning you can give it more gas. Another time having the bike almost vertical and you hanging off is during the end of cornering right before the straight, when you are still hanging off but you get the bike upright so you can give it 100% throttle coming out of the turn with the bike upright

I like to drag a knee and bring it back in- more like a feeler. There are only certain corners that are dictated by speed as to how long I keep a knee down. Once I hit a toe slider though, I know I'm down as far as I want to go without doing the whole ground-sky-ground-sky thing...
