Rearsets?

Just curious about peoples opinions on rearsets and the companies that provide them for CBR's. I'm curious if I'd get more comfort from them on short or long rides over the stock units. Just looking for something with a good build quality that fits the bill more than anything else. I'd like to do some track days with the bike, but if I did it would be a small portion of the riding the bike will probably see.

Gilles
Sato
Vortex
anyone else I should look into?

Thank in advance.

currently looking for the money in my budget for rearsets($500-600). i find myself doing ALOT of positioning before the turns to keep my boots from scraping. its no big deal but it is a bit distracting. plus yamaha makes rearsets to begin with. as far as comfort i find myself putting the of my feet up on the pegs when cruising down 45 not just before turn-ins. seems normal to me and there is no discomfort after a 30 minute ride.

If you have extra money - Sato

If you want save some but still get rearsets that do the job - Vortex or Woodcraft

Thank you for the suggestions so far. I'm not in a hurry to get them since I need a few other items first, but I'll look into those a little more.

I suppose y other question is if the Sato's or other rearsets work with the DJ quickshifter?

Yes they work, the QS replaces the stock rod, so all of the rearsets work

I love my Gilles Tooling on my 600rr. They held up great in a lowside too.

I prefer Attack, but unfortunately they're not offered for our bikes.
That being said, we've had good experiences with the Vortex on our racebike (CBR600rr) as well as our customers bikes.

I've got a set on an '06 CBR1000rr I have here for sale if you'd like to check them out.

i believe 600rr and 1000rr VORTEX rearsets are interchangeable. 1000rr just uses an extra part that comes with the 600rr set.
