Read all 7 pages and i recently used Motorcycles Unlimited and had a GREAT experience! Ironically i got a front tire from Patrick last minute before picking up my bike that week but i already knew it only had like 50% thread left. I personally don't think reputable shops will try to hustle for a tire, what they maybe make like $40-$50 each tire....the Shop is always busy so i doubt Motorcycles Unlimited was having a bad week and need to sell a tire to catch quota??? but again this is just my experience

And wouldn't I know how it handles if my tire had a flat? and B. I checked my tire before entering the shop to ask for what kind of specials they have for a tire?
hey, sometimes u get a nail in the tire, you wont even notice it till the next day when you are going to ride. happened to me before.

i done 200 mile ride in one day, breaking 1--+ mph to park my bike and find out the next day i got a flat. the nail seems to hold the pressure in when u first get it, so u dont really notice the handling being off. as for fulling checking the tire before leaving the bike at the shop, i doubt that was done, you would have to roll the bike a good 2-3 feet to check if any nails are on the tire, and that is just something i dont see many people doing.

but on to the bad experience with shops, i had a bad experience with cycle gear messing up my tires last year. wasnt settled as i liked, but i just said it, because they werent going to pay for their mistake and i didnt feel like .
