I only read the first page

But I will tend to lean on the side of the poster and go aginst the grain, MH was here before me and will be here after me, it is of no gain or loss to me.

I called a sponser and told them I was looking for a part, did not give brand, just what I needed, they had one of a certain brand and I bought it, they did not know I was a MH member. A few weeks later I PM the sponsor about some work I wanted done to my bike, (I was a returning customer, now as a MH member to thier knowledge) got to said sponsor and told them what I had on my bike and what I wanted, they told me I should have gone with "A" or "B" part becasue it was much better than said "C" part that I had. WTF, they just sold that part to me a few weeks ago, now they tell me its they would not recommend it. As it turns out the part was junk.

What would you know about running a motorcycle shop? Just curious? In this industry we deal with guys like you on a regular basis, it's part of the job.:eh: If any reputable shop sent 99.9% of customers(as you stated above) out the door denying their mistakes, the shop would close. period.
Were you there for the incident? Do you know the condition of the vehicle before and after it left that shop? Every coin has two sides dude, if you can't present both sides in a fair/respectable manner you deserve what the mods do. Plain and simple.

BTW, why exactly are you so off about this? Where do you fall in this puzzle? If you don't love it, leave it!!!!

If you're not man enough to speak your mind to the shop and try to resolve things while still at the shop... then you don't deserve the right to come here and voice your opinions about the shop!

Well I only read the first post on this thread but I wanted to comment..

I think every person sponsor or not should be able to take the good with the bad.. If people are allowed to post up complements on a job well done people that didnt get good service should also be able to post up thier experience..

On that note however... Not to stir up trouble or anything but "sponsers" on forums really arent needed.. Its good to have for events and such dont get me wrong but they shouldnt have any influence on the forums.. I myself own a forum with over 30 thousands users so I know how much its cost to run forums or lack there of.. Forums are extremely cheap and anyone with a basic job can afford it without having sponsors. I have a website, downloads, forums, etc.. etc.. and it only cost me $120 a year.. If anyone wants to call me out on it I will be happy to show you in pms my website, forums and my yearly bill.. but I dont want to advertise here..

My forums stats:
Our users have posted a total of 48593 articles
We have 30009 registered users
The newest registered user is kosglad

Personaly, get rid of the immature snot... got this lovely PM... :-)

"Tron
FLYNN
Join Date: Jan 2006 How's this for staying calm and precise.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
**** YOU! is that calm enough for you wipe? Think you know all the stories? "

..then found this thread.

From what i've seen, if someone comes on here and CALMLY states they had a problem at a shop, and explains the problem/issue then there isn't much of an issue.
When someone comes in ranting, throwing a virtual e-tantrum while in the throes of an epileptic fit...then things go downhill fast, flames start flying and the thing gets locked.

...am I saying that the moderation is perfect, no. None of the mods get paid, the effective cost come's out of Sol's pocket (offset by sponsors, sure). Does that mean favoritism, or that sponsors are calling the shots behind the curtain....not what i've seen from my time here.

Can't handle it? STFU and get out then, otherwise shutup & buck up. Want to see some change or explanation...try to calmly and concisely ASK. That's ask, w/o copping an attitude, being snarky or a smartass.

Wow, I go to dinner and come back to this nonsense!:laughing6

First off, as everyone has already stated, if you have a problem with a shop, SAY SO BEFORE YOU PAY THE BILL!!

Don't come on here a month or more later whining and moaning about it when you weren't man enough to say something at the time it happened.

Why is that I wonder?

Is it because you truly don't have a leg to stand on?

Is it because you're here because of an ulterior motive?

I have nothing to hide from anyone. Yes we make mistakes, however in your case we are guilty of nothing and you have ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to be coming at us.

You got a hole in your tire on the way to our shop, plain and simple.

One of my guys rolled your bike into the showroom from where you parked it out front and it had a flat tire.

You were standing there the entire time. How is your flat tire my fault?

AND, if you do really believe that it was, why didn't you say something RIGHT THEN AND THERE? Why did you wait OVER a month to say anything?

As I have already said, I believe there's more behind your intentions than what we can see.

To those asking why Tron is so and how he falls into all of this...

He accused Motorcycles Unlimited of messing people's bikes up on purpose so they would have to return to them for service. He accused them of making a tire flat so they could sell a new tire. He accused them of breaking a spool on a bike... all of this on his FRIEND'S bike (a chick if I remember correctly). I think the thread is still out there if you search previous posts by him.

Patrick replied to that thread as well.

So, Tron is at Motorcycles Unlimited, then sees a post about GPM and bad service and people were defending the shop, and he went off AGAIN about conspiracies, etc.

I'd say GPM went above what they had to in regards to offering a refund considering the story by the O.P. seems dubious at best and he waited till getting home to complain about the price.
