Shave the seat, no handling changes then!

Mine is i guess around 2.5 to 3 inches so i had to shave the kickstand and just weld it back to the right size

That's exactly what I did. Shaved it and welded but the angle was off. Plus 2up on the bike burned a whole through my back seat compartment. And I didn't like the way it handled.

I think your getting "shave the seat" confused with lowering the bike... Lowering the bike changes suspension and shaving the seat only changes the seat... Your tire should never touch the seat if you only shaved the foam from the top of it.

No sweetheart, read the post I quoted, I shaved/cut/shortened the kickstand after I lowered my bike. Better? I'll use more details next time. Sorry.

Tough it out / get use to it. Shave off outer edges of the seat if you have to; use suspension mods as a last resort. Get you some of these

I'm 5'3" with a 29" inseam and can handle 32" seat height sport bike without a problem.
