that place sucks. the service SUCKED (took 20 mins to get the above said items) the guy didnt know what to give me ( i asked for full synthetic, first he gives me marine dyno oil, then marine synthetic and finally i said , dude i have a bike not a jetski, and he gives me the right thing) and it was a f-in rip off.

i could have driven out the patricks and STILL saved money even with the cost of gas being $3 a gallon.

word sucks

Yeah no .....just know that if you went to WORD, you got ****ed.....it doesn't matter what you bought or what you did, they ****ed you.

I try to give them opportunities because I live right around the corner from them but....man....their prices SUCK...

Stock hayabusa battery--$130+tax, got it online $90 shipped
Small swing arm bearings--$45+tax, got online $27 shipped
Small pushpin clips(tail section rivets) $3 each(I bought 6 but later found them online for .99)

Small fairing nuts(speed nuts) $3.79 each(I bought 6, later found them for 1.49)

As far as oil is concerned....I always use Mobil 1 full sythetic gold cap(used to use the red cap but its no longer available)15/50. Mobil 1 is best for high heat applications...(like mine, 300hp turbo with no oil cooler) Always used Mobil 1 since day one. I tore it down at 20k and bearings looked perfect, I actually put them back in and now I have almost 30k, original bearings, 700+ drag strip passes and about 300-400 dyno pulls. Almost 10k miles were with the turbo making no less then 250hp.

I use stock Suzuki oil filters. I change the oil every 1500-2k miles at the most. If I am racing a lot or dynoing a lot, I change oil much more often. Hasn't blown one yet.

Well unfortunately, the last one I bought, I got it at WORD for like $15.95 cause I was in a hurry. You can get them online for much cheaper. I think www.ronayersmotorsports.com has them for like $10.95. I doubt you will find one much cheaper then that. BUT to be honest with you, I have had pretty good luck with EMGO brand filters...I know I know, you would think they are cheap junk but I used to run them and cut them open after a race and they are VERY similar to the OEM filter. Maybe some differences in valving but..

Whatever you do, don't run a FRAM or so off brand BS.....I have heard WIX filters are decent but I have never used them....Another GOOD alternative is the K&N oil filters....they cost about the same as OEM.

Yeah its very streetable. I had been racing it in April/May so I wasn't riding it much then, I did hit the South Shore beer garden bike night a few weeks in a row. Then in June I had a rear suspension catastrophic failure("Pinks-style"). The bike has been down since. I just got a call today the new swingarm is done and shipped so hopefully I will have it up and rollin in the next couple weeks.

I did just buy a 01 Gix 1k for something to cruise around on, take trips etc so I will be ready for some street riding when it gets here next week. Its coming from Michigan. Hit me up, I am off of Calder.

Maybe you, me and SBfuller can get together for a ride...I think he is in LC also.
