I really like riding it because it has no gauges, no instruments, no blinkers, no nothing, just a horn, start button, and grips. Legal? With a mirror, high beam switch and indicator, and a Schwinn bike speedo it will be!

Daniel, I'd like to keep it, for now, and honestly you'd be better off finding a clean low mileage stocker for your wife. Ladies don't really like pulling a choke cable with their bare knuckles. A bar conversion like this is about $80 for parts and can be done to almost anything.

Nobody else has a cheap bike they love to ride?????

It'll wheelie in first with little effort. I have managed to pull a couple of upshifts to second, but the lack of power makes my hesitation plant the front back to earth. I haven't tried anything else on it yet, I've only ridden it a couple of times. Also scared of the stock rubber. I'm gonna get some track takeoffs for it soon and then try to have some fun.

I was amazed when I looked at the 250 rider times from CMRA Cresson. The race prepped 250's were turning laps faster than a lot of 650 SV's and 600 SS bikes, somewhere in the 1:27's. So I just need to get tires, stiffen the suspension, and then I'll be able to trust it to ride a little crazy.

Gonna throw it on the rack and take it to Colorado today. I think I can prolly find some good stunt spots way out in the middle of nowhere. I'll take soe pics...
