Mike came out later in the afternoon and had to leave after few sessions.
I don't think had a chance to take much.

Rebbecca worked at a corner and took some photos.
Let's see what she has.

Your dog again?

Oh, no...
I'm so sorry to hear that.
You did everything you can do.
As he was a good dog to you, you were the best owner he could ask for.

Thanks! If anyones interested I have a few more on my site at: http://mnovell.smugmug.com/gallery/3293647. I'm still trying to improve so if anyone has any constructive criticism please let me know. I know I need to work on getting better angles and learn the best places to shoot from at the various tracks.

Well, you weren't official track photographer which limits your angle.
If you had choice to walk around the track, I'm sure you would've taken some exciting photos.

Someone from other forum was at the track and measured the temperature. He said surface temp was 145F, the ambient temp in the shade was 104F, and in the sun 110F.

You know what was the worse part?
I had to ride back, caught in stop and go traffic from Baybrook all the way to 610 for about an hour.
Swear , I thought I was gonna die.

Sunday went down as the hottest day in Galveston for the last 7 years. And MSR-H is not too far from down there.

It was very hot!

Nice pics! At least you got to run the maiden trackday at GSS.

... and very sorry for your doggie, bumbelbee.

Man, that sound MISERABLE. You are a tough cookie nutmeg. Could you complete the whole session or did you have to come in early because of the heat.
