Toto has a new home!

Hello MH! Just moved here last November from Kansas. Since ive been here I upgraded my GSXR 750 to a R1. Last night I met a few of you at Vitos and let me just say its good to see a group of riders that actually meet and such. Looking forward to meeting the rest of you and going on more rides!:notworthy

wtf??????? i recommend you look into it, and upgrading from a 750 to a litre bike with no msf? and no time on twisties? get a bike cam so we can all see how it turns out. ride safe and dont try to impress, keep it at your level, build confidence, and take the msf course.

The town I lived in before didnt offer that course for me to take so I had to learn by riding with a group known as Street Fighterz. I started on a Kawasaki 500R went to a Suzuki GSXR 750 and when I moved here I bought the R1. I never push myself more than I think I can handle. Thus the reason youll prob. see me at the back of a pack............ looking forward to riding at the track though

aww, you're just too sweet. As for the MSF, I agree....highly recommended! Not only does it help increase your awareness and knowledge of the bike, but it's actually fun too....if interested check these guys out. I took mine with them and it was worth every penny.http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=24533

What about gear.
Please tell me you are riding with all your protective gear.
I know Houston is VERY hot but, it's better hot than DEAD.

If you have not traded in in your 500 yet, i'd wait until you complete the MSF and maybe had a little track time.

As BigComfy said, I am a TRACKHEAD!
I'm very slow and I crash often but, I cannot seem to get enough
