What is the bike with no front forks?

I was talking to some guys at work about it and I can't remember the freaking name of it.

I think it was pronounced something like 'Tayski' or something...I have no clue actually.

There's tons of bikes w/o conventional forks.

Confederate Wraith
Bimota Tesi 2D
Britten V1000

just to name a few...

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Dang that is sweet.... how does the front wheel stay in place???
I remember in college that a team was working on a sport bike that would be chainless and the rear rim would have no spokes... had a poster of it, but never heard anything about it....

I've seen several show bikes w/ friction drives. The have no visable means of drive. Usually the contraption is hidden and it looks like the bike cannot be moved via the motor. It's a neat idea for a show bike, but 100% uselss as a bike to be ridden. For one thing it will wear your rear tire down twice as fast...
